Our organic raised bed substrate is a peat-free, organically fertilised, universally applicable growing medium for healthy, lushly flowering plants in raised beds. For the sustainable cultivation of crisp salads, aromatic herbs or fresh vegetables in organic quality. Ready-to-use substrate for use as a planting layer in raised beds. Fill the top 20 – 30 cm of your raised bed with this well-structured substrate. Herbs, lettuce, vegetables, grasses or flowers are planted directly into this layer of raised bed substrate. Organic start fertilization with all important main and trace nutrients for the first approx. 3 weeks. For a rich, long-lasting harvest according to the nutrient requirements of your plants, especially with strong uptakers such as tomatoes, cucumbers or zucchini, fertilize vigorously!
The raised bed should stand on a permeable substrate against waterlogging and ensure good drainage in all layers. The peat-free raised bed soil ensures very good drainage of the plant layer due to its special structure. Therefore water the plants regularly.
