We use only RAL-quality assured, high-quality substrate compost from our region, produced from green waste. It provides favourable physical properties, improves rewettability and increases buffering properties for nutrients. The biological activity in the substrate is positively influenced, which promotes the release of nutrients.
Brill compost in the substrate consists of 100% green waste from gardening and landscaping in our region. It is used, among other things, as an additive in substrates for organic cultivation, in special substrates for cemeteries or gardening and landscaping as well as in potting substrates.
LignoTer® is a substrate fibre compost developed by Brill. It consists of substrate fibres from domestic softwoods and substrate compost (both RAL-quality assured). LignoTer® is a natural, rapidly renewable raw material of homogeneous, consistent quality. It promotes water dynamics and rewetting in the pot, contributes to good drainage and causes rapid drying of the substrate surface. In addition, it stimulates biological activity in the substrate in a natural way.
For compost, origin and constant inspection are crucial to the quality. Our high-quality, RAL-quality assured substrate compost is produced only from green waste. Due to the existing nutrient content it can be used up to a maximum of 40% in the substrate.
