A free neutral LUFA water analysis and a fertiliser mixture adapted to your water are the best basis for easy-to-handle soft fruit substrate cultivation.
When developing soft fruit substrates, we use RAL-quality assured raw materials wherever possible. Every growing medium must pass an internal and external endurance test in advance, even under real conditions. Only then do we green light a reliably functioning substrate.
Strawberry crops must deliver reliable maximum yields within the shortest possible time and, especially in the case of remontant bearing, also have a balanced ratio of blossoms, assimilation area and fruit over a long period of time. We offer tried-and-true substrates for trough, rack, short and continuous cultivation as well as for remonted bearing.
We have a precise command of the subtle differences, e. g. between short cultivation with summer-bearing varieties (Floricane) and autumn raspberries (Primocane) with long growing seasons, and offer special solutions for these and other crops. For this purpose, we use high-quality sod white peat in combination with coconut and perlite to generate particularly airy soft fruit substrates, which are specially tailored to the high demands of blackberries and the long growing season of autumn-bearing raspberries.
Blueberries place particularly high demands on the water and air balance and on an even, moderate supply of nutrients. In addition, long growing seasons require special raw materials and formulations. For optimum structural stability, we rely on coconut fibres and mineral components such as expanding clay or perlite.
Propagation substrates form the basis of your success. The plants must form roots quickly in very small plant containers, provide assimilation surface and create many flower buds. We have solutions for (micro) propagation of cuttings, strawberry potted green and tray plants as well as for longcane raspberry cultivation, among others.
It goes without saying that we take your needs into account (such as irrigation water quality, requirements of your crop and your cultivation method as well as water storage and drainage capacity or required slow-release fertilisers) when selecting ingredients or developing formulations.
The safety of your crop is of great concern to us – that’s why we regularly have our soft fruit substrates tested for performance by independent institutes. In addition, we support you with our expertise and provide free substrate and water analyses.
