We have been a family owned company since 1920. Striving to reach long term partnerships with customers and suppliers that are profitable for both parties is one of our principles. We know that people do business. This is why we take people seriously and are not only interested in business relationships, but also in good personal relationships with our partners. We have developed friendly, long term relationships that go beyond the business aspect with several of our customers and suppliers.
Our company, Gebr. Brill Substrate, has survived several crises throughout the years. It is consistently solid, careful and healthy, but constantly grows. It is very important to us to ensure high quality jobs for our qualified employees. We principally employ full-time workers with full social security contributions. These employees are paid well, corresponding to their good service. The minimum wage discussion is not necessary for us because we already pay much higher wages than the minimum wage suggested by politicians and unions. We also employ a small number of part-time workers. Temporary workers are only hired to cover for sick employees or to help process peaks; we do not implement service based contracts.
We have a functional education system that offers further education programs, for example regarding safety, accident prevention and cargo securing. Based on yearly discussions with our employees, the planned education activities are individually decided on. This includes external trainings. The education system is audited regularly according to DIN EN 9001.
It goes without saying that we comply to all legal regulations and compliance demands, for example concerning the right of association, child labor or cartel laws.
